In-game advertising (IGA) is the use of computer and video games to deliver advertising. The games industry view IGA as offering a new revenue stream for advertisers and marketers. Some advertisers see in-game advertising as a prime way to target the male 18-34 demographic, who are increasingly neglecting television in favor of computer and video games. Others see in-game advertising as a way to reach into casual games, and target a growing female demographic.
